New Delhi. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has released the schedule of the five-Test series between India and England. Team India will tour England in June 2025, where the first Test match will be played in Leeds from June 20. Rohit Sharma’s photo released by the BCCI along with the schedule indicates that he can captain Team India in this series. This means that Rohit Sharma is ready to take over the reins of the team next year as well.
India tour of England 2025 Schedule of:
- First Test: June 20 – June 24, Leeds
- 2nd Test: July 2 – July 6, Birmingham
- 3rd Test: July 10 – July 14, Lord’s, London
- Fourth Test: 23 July – 27 July, Manchester
- Fifth Test: July 31 – August 4, The Oval, London
During this series, Team India will stay in England for one and a half months. It is expected that along with Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal will also be part of the team. If wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant is fully fit, then his place is also considered certain. Fast bowlers Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah can also get a chance on this tour.

This year too, Team India has to participate in many matches. A two-match Test series will be played between India and Bangladesh from September 19. After this, a three-match T20 series will also be organized. Apart from this, India will also face New Zealand. The New Zealand team will tour India and a three-match T20 series will be played between the two teams.
