New Delhi. The school bus sank 4 feet into the road in Jodhpur’s Magra Punjala area. During this, the children in the bus started screaming loudly. Two children including the driver were present in the bus at the time of the accident. Exactly 5 hours after this incident, another bus got stuck in the same pit, a city bus. It was a matter of happiness that there was no ride in the bus during this time. Earlier, the school bus was passing in the area of Rawla Bera at around 7 am on Wednesday and within a few minutes the rear part of the bus started sloping along the road. A lot of effort was made by the driver to save the bus but he could not succeed. Later the local people came there and the information was given to the school administration. After all this, the bus was pulled out with the help of a crane at around 10 o’clock.
According to media reports, the local police administration is also responsible for this incident as the pothole in which the bus was stuck was not taken care of by the administration there. Surprisingly, no barricades were even put up on the road for this. There was a 12 feet wide pothole in the road for the past several years. Nowadays it was always full of water due to the rainy season. For this reason, the school bus and the whistle bus got stuck here on Wednesday.
Despite the occurrence of these two incidents, no one here took any notice. Following this, the local residents said that the bus of Shiv Public School got stuck around 7 am. Municipal corporation officer and councilor of ward no 71 Bhairu Singh Parihar took stock of the spot and asked to repair the road soon.
