New Delhi. The Popular Front of India (PFI) was banned by the Government of India last year. It was argued from the Center that PFI is involved in many activities against the country. Now the purpose for which PFI was banned, it seems to be getting weak in Karnataka. In Aaj Tak’s secret investigation, it has come to know that PFI is fully active in the state by another name. Many of its members are busy in taking their old work to its end by being a part of that organization.
Actually, the thing is that in Karnataka where BJP is preparing for assembly elections, there is such an organization active within the state which can do anything to carry out anti-national activities. This organization is Social Democratic Party of India i.e. SDPI, many people consider it to be a political organization of PFI itself. Now it is happening that at this time PFI members have entered this SDPI organization itself. They have joined in large numbers, carrying forward their same old agenda. Talking to the reporter, PFI leader Chand Pasha said that he is continuously strengthening the organization in his area, releasing videos, spreading his ideology among Muslim voters through WhatsApp. Pasha also emphasized that we are all PFI workers, we constantly brainstorm among our supporters, discuss which candidate can win. Our real aim is to just beat BJP.
India Today uncovers evidence on how PFI has seamlessly assimilated into the SDPI.

When the reporter asked SDPI activist Muneeb Bengre during the sting whether all the PFI workers have now joined SDPI, he shook his head and said, “Yes, because PFI is now banned, so all the members Now have joined SDPI. After this the reporter asked that except the PFI people who have gone to jail, all the lower level workers are with you, then he said yes all the lower level workers have started working together with us. Of course PFI is banned, but the workers are still with us. RSS is very strong here, but SDPI is equally strong. But with the strengthening of SDPI, the youth here are also getting stronger.”
After this Stinger questioned a person working in the office of SDPI named Nazir…. Are PFI workers still adamant after the ban in the same way as they used to be before? So Nazir replied nodding his head in yes.. Yes, he has remained the same till now, he has come with us but till now he has not budged and is firm on his agenda. The new youths who are coming, of course they do not have training but we train them from the beginning. But only those people are kept in PFI who take high training and believe in their leadership properly.
Nazir told that PFI is very scared now, because whenever a worker of RSS or right wing is killed, 20-25 people are taken from here, but when a worker of PFI or SDPI is killed If there is, then only 3-4 people are arrested from there, this is a problem.
It is worth noting that the Popular Front of India, which has been banned by the Central Government on charges of anti-national activities, how its ideology is still being spread indiscriminately in Karnataka. After all, from where is this banned organization getting so much power, who is helping it. The answer to this question has come out in the investigation. Pasha himself has told that there are 30 to 50 mosques in the area, they have 10 to 15 presidents, all of them have formed 10 to 15 groups. Now any message has to be given, then it easily reaches many people with a click. The great thing is that at this time 70 to 80 percent of the PFI organization is still active in Chikmagalur district of Karnataka, that is, no effect of the ban has been seen there.
