Jaipur. A second meeting of the Ministers Committee was held in the Government Secretariat on Tuesday to discuss various demands of the Backward Classes and Gurjar Samaj. The meeting was attended by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Avinash Gehlot and Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham.
All the points were reviewed in the meeting of the committee on the instructions of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the progress of Devnarayan Yojana, reservation in rosters and various recruitments, compassionate appointment to the movement affected, 5 percent of the most backward reservation in the ninth schedule and reviewed. The committee considered the Personnel Department to dispose of various cases positively. Also, the seven points suggested in the last meeting were discussed in detail by the Gurjar Reservation Committee. In the upcoming meeting, instructions were given to ask for the factual report of all points and discuss them. Along with this, the Home Department gave necessary guidelines to dispose of the cases related to the Gurjar reservation movement.
Additional Chief Secretary Social Justice and Empowerment Department Aparna Arora, Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department Bhaskar A.K. Sawant, Chief Government Secretary Medical Gayatri A. Officers of concerned departments including Rathod, Government Secretary, Personnel Department Dr. Krishna Kant Pathak, Government Secretary, School Education Krishna Kunal, Director and Joint Secretary Social Justice and Empowerment Department Ashish Modi were present.
