Eye Scan: The movements of the eyes created a big problem for a young man who had reached the airport to go abroad. Due to this movement of the eyes, the situation worsened to such an extent that instead of going abroad, the young man ended up behind bars. The incident took place at Pune International Airport. Where a young man named Ganesh Markand had reached Pune International Airport to go to Dubai by Spice Jet flight SG-51.

During the pre-embarkation security check at Pune airport, the CISF screener noticed something raised near Ganesh’s waist. Suspicious, the CISF screener asked Ganesh – What is there in your waist? As soon as this question was asked, Ganesh’s face went blank and his eyes widened for a few seconds. The CISF screener sensed the movement in his eyes in time.

When everybody became stunned
After this, the CISF screener did a pat down search and found that something was indeed tied around his waist. On the instructions of the CISF screener, Ganesh took out the foreign currency tied around his waist and placed it in front of him. After giving it, everyone present there was stunned. After this, the matter was informed to the top officials of CISF including the customs and his check-in baggage was also called for investigation.

When Ganesh’s check-in baggage was opened in the presence of custom officers, a huge amount of foreign currency was recovered from it. According to a senior officer posted at Pune airport, Ganesh had 25 thousand Saudi Riyals in his waist, while about 57500 Saudi Riyals were recovered from his check-in baggage. The value of the recovered foreign currency in Indian currency is estimated to be around Rs 18,40,952.

The search for those involved in the racket continues
Accused Ganesh has been handed over to Customs along with the recovered 82500 Saudi Riyals; while the Customs is now trying to find out who else is involved in this racket with Ganesh. Thus, the smuggling of foreign currency has been foiled due to the alertness of the CISF screener. The investigation of the case is still going on.
