Mandleshwar. The Pensioners Association Mandleshwar organized a felicitation ceremony at Kahar Samaj Dharamshala. The chief guest was Dr. RK Sharma, President of Ahilya Provincial Senior Citizens Welfare Federation and the special guest was Retired Chief Municipal Officer Ramnath Sharma. Federation Dr. Sharma gave detailed information about the Parents Maintenance Act along with the establishment of counseling centers at the divisional and district level. In addition to legal information in detail to solve the problems of senior citizens, guidance was given regarding health precautions at this stage of age. The pensioner unit provided financial assistance to the city’s social organization Thank You Nature Welfare Society. Ajay Verma, Deepak Gari, Siddharth Soni, Arun Kewat, Harsh Soni and Mayank Verma of the organization were honored with shawl shriphal. The organization presented sparrow nests to the guests. Along with NL Sen for special social service, pensioners who entered the age of 80 years were honored with shawl, shriphal and flowers. Pro. Jyoti Sarjalia, Lalit Patidar, Shankarsinh Rajput, Jai Malviya, Nikita Jaiswal, Anjali Malviya and Abha Sinodia checked the blood pressure of senior citizens. Conducted by Chairman BK Upadhyay.
Cultural program presentation
Kasrawad. Scouts and Guides celebrated World Contemplation Day in Kendriya Vidyalaya with enthusiasm on Tuesday. Principal Sangeeta Shelke was the chief guest. 59 Scouts and Guides in Scout Uniform, two Scout Masters and one Cub Master participated and led the programme. The program began with the wreath laying on the portrait of Lord Baden Powell and the chief guest wearing a scarf. This year’s theme was related to Ban and Awareness on Single Use Plastic. Scouts and Guides presented a colorful cultural program. Masters Deepak Mandloi and Arshad Malik organized the program with prayer, flag hoisting and scout flag song.
