Home Minister Ji Parmeshwar gave this information
In the Om Prakash murder case, Karnataka’s Home Minister Ji Parmeshwar said that ‘he has been killed, he is saying that the wife has done, but until the investigation is completed, no conclusion cannot be reached. Wife only informed the police
Om Prakash was a 1981 batch IPS officer and originally from Champaran, Bihar. He became the DGP of Karnataka on 1 March 2015. According to the police, Omprakash (68) was living in Bangalore after retirement and was in conflict with his wife. The wife called the police and reported her husband’s death on Sunday evening. On hearing the news of the former DGP’s murder, the police team immediately reached his house. Om Prakash’s blood -soaked body was lying on the spot. Police said the neighbors and their relatives also informed about the daily quarrel between Om Prakash and his wife.
Did the wife kill her?
According to media reports, after the incident, the wife of the former DGP made a video call to the wife of another IPS. It is being told that in this call, Omprakash’s wife said that she has killed Satan. It is being told that the wife of another IPS has told the police herself. According to reports, there were frequent quarrels in the DGP’s house. The husband and wife did not like each other and Pallavi Om was fed up with Prakash. The police suspect that a close member of the family is involved in the incident. It is being told that there was some dispute in the family about property.
Case registered based on son’s complaint
The police immediately took his wife and daughter into custody for questioning. A case of murder has been registered at HSR Layout Police Station in this case. However, it is not yet known what happened on Sunday, due to which the murder was done. At the same time, in this case, Additional Police Commissioner Vikas Kumar of Bangalore said that his son was contacted and a complaint has been lodged against the incident, on the basis of which an FIR has been lodged. The Additional Police Commissioner further stated that a detailed investigation will be done in the matter. No arrests have been made yet, but preliminary investigation suggests that the case may be internal. The son has told the police in a complaint that his father has been stabbed to death.
