Dhaka: Another murder case was filed on Saturday against ousted Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina over the death of a college student during a student protest demanding reservation reform. Hasina has already been charged with several crimes over violence during student protests.

The case has been filed in Chandgaon against Hasina, former education minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Naufel and 32 others, including several Awami League leaders, bdnews24.com reported. According to the report, 40 to 50 unidentified people have also been made accused in the case.

This is the seventh case against Haseena

This is the seventh case registered against Hasina since she was ousted amid massive protests. Hasina (76) left the country for India on August 5 after she was forced to resign following massive student protests against the reservation system in government jobs.

The report quoted police station chief Jahedul Kabir as saying that deceased student Tanveer Siddiqui’s uncle Mohammad Parvez filed a complaint at Chandgaon police station on Saturday morning. (Input: Bhasha)
