Shiv Navratri in Ujjain 2022: Ujjain (Naiduniya representative). In the Jyotirlinga Mahakal temple, on the third day of Shiva Navratri on Wednesday, Lord Mahakal was adorned in an overcast form. The devotees were relieved to see the divine form of the Lord. On Thursday, God will be adorned in Chhabina form. According to the tradition of Shiva Navratri, the priests first worshiped Lord Chandramouleshwar, Koteshwar and Rameshwar in the morning. After this Lord Mahakal was anointed with Panchamrit and sandalwood in the sanctum. After the worship, 11 Brahmins recited Rudra. After Bhog Aarti at one o’clock in the afternoon and evening worship at three o’clock in the afternoon, Mahakal was adorned with new clothes, ornaments and overcast masks.
ISKCON chief Goswami Maharaj did Mahakal Darshan
Ujjain (Naiduniya Representative). Gopal Krishna Goswamiji Maharaj, head of ISKCON India, had darshan of Lord Mahakal in the Jyotirlinga Mahakal temple on Wednesday morning. PRO Raghav Pandit Das told that the ISKCON chief did darshan and worship of Lord Mahakal from the sanctum. Pt. Radheshyam Shastri got the worship done. Swamiji’s secretary Dashavatar Prabhu was also present during this. After the worship, Bhim Rao Khandegar and Umesh Pandya honored the ISKCON chief on behalf of the temple committee at Nandi Hall.
One and a half lakh rupees presented in Mahakal temple
Ujjain (Naiduniya Representative). The process of offering offerings by the devotees to the Jyotirlinga Mahakal temple continues. Devotee SK Meena, resident of Indore, presented an amount of Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand on Wednesday. Temple administrator Ganesh Kumar Dhakad honored the donor by presenting a shawl and a picture of Lord Mahakal to the donor in his office. Assistant Administrative Officer RK Tiwari said that after being impressed by the arrangements of the temple, devotees are continuously offering money and materials to the temple.
