Mumbai Shiv Sena leader and spokesperson Arun Sawant has attacked actor Ejaz Khan’s show ‘House Arrest’, making serious allegations against women. Sawant called Ejaz Khan insulting Indian women and demanded a severe punishment to them.
Arun Sawant said that if Ejaz Khan meets him on the road, he will be beaten up and he will be taught a lesson in his own language.
Arun Sawant said, “Many people like Ejaz Khan are in this India, who insult Indian women by showing pornographic scenes. They are ashamed of us. Indian women are not like this. Our women follow their religion and culture, but people like Ejaz Khan misinterpret their religion and malign women.” Sawant angrily said that if Ejaz Khan ever met him, “will kill him”.
Sawant described the show ‘House Arrest’ as against the honor of Indian women and called it a threat to social values. He claimed that this act of Ejaz Khan has not only insulted women, but has also spread the wrong message in the society. Sawant warned on behalf of the Shiv Sena that such activities would not be tolerated and the culprits would be taught a strong lesson.
It is noteworthy that the Standing Committee of Parliament associated with the Ministry of Information Technology (IT) will discuss on the OTT platform on the OTT platform from 11 am on Wednesday.
Committee Chairman and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Nishikant Dubey has already taken a tough stance on the increasing impact of vulgarity on digital platforms and has said to take action in the matter. Nishikant Dubey recently expressed his displeasure over the social media platform X and wrote, “It will not work, our committee will take action on it.”
