Shivsena (UBT)'s son dies during argument with auto driver


A strange case has come to light in Palghar. Here a person died during an argument with an autorickshaw driver. The deceased is said to be the 45-year-old son of a leader of the Thane unit of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray). Police said that a case of culpable homicide has been registered against an unknown person in this incident.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Jayant Bajbale said that this incident happened on Sunday night when Milind More, son of Raghunath More, former head of Shiv Sena (UBT) Thane unit, was holidaying with his family at a resort in Navapur. While coming out of the resort, Milind got into a fight with an auto rickshaw driver. He fainted during the fight. The family immediately took him to the hospital. Doctors declared Milind dead in the hospital. The cause of death is said to be a heart attack. Milind was the deputy chief of Shiv Sena (UBT) Thane unit.

Based on the complaint by Milind’s family, a case under Section 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against an unknown person.

A press release issued by the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Office said that after the incident, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has directed municipal officials to demolish the unauthorized resort built near ‘Arnala Beach’. It has been reported that the Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation (VVMC) has started demolishing illegal structures in the area.
