According to information received from Balesar Jodhpur police and trusted sources, Chamu police received a quarrel between two parties in Godi village at 11 pm. When Chamu police station officer Omprakash May Jabta reached the spot, the people standing there took him hostage and imprisoned him in the house. After this, when the Chamu police got information about taking hostage, the head constable reached the spot with two policemen and they were also taken hostage there. He was beaten up, in which the head constable’s hand broke.
Then on receiving the information to District Superintendent of Police Jodhpur Rural Dharmendra Singh Yadav, police of all the nearby police stations were sent on the spot, in which Balesar Deputy Superintendent of Police Kailash Kanwar Rathore and Police Officer Narpat Dan Charan reached the spot. As soon as they reached the spot, the accused Harji Ram and one of his companions from the jugaad car tried to offer the car on them. At the same time, Balesar Sho Narpat Dan Charan showed bravery and fired 4 rounds, so he started running around in fear.
After this, Superintendent of Police Jodhpur Rural Dharmendra Singh Yadav himself reached the spot and rescued the policemen from the possession of the accused. Dozens of women and men accused were detained and their vehicles were also seized and taken to Chamu police station. At the same time, Chamu police station has been converted into a cantonment.
