In our country, both rice and roti are the main diet. In such a situation, it is a bit difficult to give up both. But we have to see which of these two has more calories. Certainly rice has more calories while other nutrients are lost because white rice is made refined. The amount of carbohydrates in it becomes very high while micronutrients are completely eliminated in it. Therefore, if someone wants to lose weight, then we do not advise to eat rice at all. If someone wants to eat, then we advise them to eat brown rice or black rice.
Eating bread is fine
Mukta Vashisht told that roti is also the main source of our diet. Wheat can also provide a lot of calories. 100 grams of wheat provides 340 calories of energy. But the good thing about wheat is that it has a high fiber and protein content due to which it does not cause much harm. But if you want to lose weight and are eating roti, then see how the flour has been made. If it has been ground directly from the mill and its peel has not been removed, then only consume this roti. If the flour is being ground after removing the peel, then do not eat rotis made from it because then the fiber will be lost. Apart from this, since roti also contains a lot of calories, so consume rotis very less. Do not eat more than two-three rotis.
