New Delhi. The Supreme Court has not given any relief to the Shahi Idgah Mosque Committee in the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi case of Mathura. This has definitely shocked him. The Supreme Court has asked the Shahi Idgah Mosque Committee to first approach the Allahabad High Court. Actually, Allahabad High Court had decided to hear all the 15 cases of Mathura’s Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Mosque case together. The Shahi Idgah Masjid Committee had filed an application against this in the High Court itself. The decision on that application has not been taken yet, but the mosque committee reached the Supreme Court. On this, the Supreme Court asked him to first go to Allahabad High Court.
Hindu side’s lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain has expressed surprise at the application filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of the Shahi Idgah Mosque Committee. He said that the Shahi Idgah Masjid Committee had filed an application in the Supreme Court only to create obstacles in the simultaneous hearing of all the cases. The Hindu side has actually claimed that the Shahi Idgah Mosque was constructed by demolishing the temple built on the birthplace of Shri Krishna. The Hindu side claims that during the era of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, the Shahi Idgah Mosque was built by demolishing the temple located at Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi.

The Hindu side also requests the Allahabad High Court that like the Gyanvapi Mosque, an ASI survey of the Shahi Idgah Mosque of Mathura should also be conducted. Along with this, the Hindu side has also made allegations regarding erasing the evidence of the ancient Hindu temple in the Shahi Idgah Mosque. A total of 15 applications were filed in the Mathura court. Whom the Allahabad High Court took before it for hearing. At the same time, the Muslim side says that the Shahi Idgah Mosque was not built by demolishing any temple. He is also demanding cancellation of the Hindu side’s claim regarding the birthplace of Shri Krishna under the Places of Worship Act.
