California Attorney General Rob Bonta and Yuba City Police Chief Brian Baker have told that these people could be arrested after investigation by several agencies. This entire investigation has been named ‘Operation Broken Sword’. The violence between the gangs attracted the local Narcotics and Gang Enforcement Task Force. These agencies, along with the FBI, then launched an investigation.
Along with the Drug Enforcement Administration, some local agencies were also involved in this investigation. Warrants were issued by the agencies to search 20 places. Police have recovered 41 weapons ranging from AK-47 to handguns and machine guns. Violence between such Sikh groups is common on the Pacific Coast. This type of violence can be seen till Canada.
