Gold prices continue to fall due to the global economic slowdown. Friday (July 15, 2022) The price of 24 carat pure gold is Rs 50,730 as against 51,160 yesterday. At the same time, the price of 22 carat gold has come down from 46,900 to 46,500. On the other hand, the price of silver also continues to fall. According to GoodReturns.in, the cost of one kilogram of silver is Rs 55,000. The price of silver has decreased by Rs 2000 as compared to yesterday.
Reason for falling gold price: The fall in gold prices is happening due to the ongoing turmoil in the global market. The news agency Reuters reported that rising inflation in the US, the increase in interest rates by the Federal Reserve (America’s central bank) is the main reason for the pressure on gold prices. In the international market, the price of gold has risen 0.2 percent to $ 1713 an ounce at 0252 GMT spot.
