A heartbreaking case has come to light from East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Here a husband killed his wife only because of suspicion. The accused husband’s name is Vamagiri Manikyam, who brutally stoned his 45 -year -old wife Usharani. The incident comes under Rajnagaram police station area, where the police have registered a case of murder on the complaint of the deceased’s mother and the investigation is on.
Married with love, but suspicion took life
According to the information, Usharani, a resident of Konthamuru village of Rajmahendrauram Rural Division, was married ten years ago to Vamagiri Manikyam of Gidugutur village in Narasipatnam Mandal. Manikyam promised at the time of marriage that he would support Usharani for a lifetime and left his village. After marriage, he started working in her in -laws and welding and both of them had two children – son Nihant (9) and daughter Nisi (7).
Doubt and harassment spoiled relationships
Life was normal in the early years, but in recent times Manikyam started doubting his wife. He often quarreled with Usharani, doubting and assaulting him. The wife had also lodged a complaint of this harassment at Rajnagaram police station. After this complaint, Manikyam escaped from home for a few days.
Deadly attack on returning
Recently, Manikyam returned home on Saturday night. During the argument with the wife in the house, the matter deteriorated so much that Manikyam attacked Usharani’s head with a heavy stone lying nearby. She fell there and became soaked in blood. At the time of this heartbreaking incident, both the children were present, who immediately informed their grandmother in the nearby street after seeing the mother’s condition. Grandma rushed to the spot and Usharani was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Accused absconding, police is searching
Based on the complaint of Usharani’s mother Lakshmi, the police have registered a case of murder against the accused Vamagiri Manikyam. The accused escaped from the spot after the incident, in search of which the police are conducting raids. Police say that soon the accused will be arrested and strict legal action will be taken against him.
Shock in society, crisis on innocent children
There is an atmosphere of mourning and resentment in the entire area due to this incident. The brutal murder of his mother in front of two innocent children has raised many questions on social fabric and family relationships. Neighbors say that Vamagiri often quarreled with his wife and was of angry nature. At present, the police is trying to reach the bottom of the case and the children have been handed over under the supervision of family members. This phenomenon not only highlights the magnitude of domestic violence, but also indicates when the family discord can take a dangerous form.
