New Delhi. Bharatiya Janata Party Rajya Sabha MP and National Spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi criticized the state’s Trinamool Congress government after the SIT report on the issue of West Bengal violence. He said, the report has exposed the government’s ruthlessness towards Hindus. Describing the Murshidabad violence as Pahalgam, Sudhanshu Trivedi said, “The way specific types of politics is going on in the country in the present time, it is seen going to any extent to protect the country’s security and inner fabric.”
Sudhanshu Trivedi further said, “The SIT was formed on the court’s order. It had 3 members- one human rights officer and two West Bengal judicial service. The SIT has given its report on the incidents on 11 April 2025. This report has completely removed the mask of the so-called self-styled heroes of Indian alliance and secularism.”
It is clear in the report that the Trinamool Congress leader was involved in the violence in Murshidabad after the Waqf Amendment Bill was passed. Hindus were targeted in violence and there was no police to help them.
At the same time, Sudhanshu Trivedi said in the National Herald case, “The National Herald case is a unique case in India’s history. First, it started in October 2013 through a PIL filed in the Delhi High Court, before the Modi government came to power. Second, this is the only case in which Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi had to take bail.”
He said that in the recent ED’s recent findings, it has been mentioned that about Rs 142 crore related to the income of crime was not only used to acquire assets, but also for other related objectives. What are these ‘other related objectives’? This is a very serious issue in itself.
