Tehsildar told that after preparing a report for road renewal, sent it to Ujjain
Khetakheda (Naiduniya News). A dharna was held in Rahimgarh under the leadership of Rajiv Gandhi Panchayati Raj Organization demanding renewal of all the bridges and culverts and roads of the dilapidated 35 km route from Basai Phante to Kachnara. During this, villagers were also present along with Congress leaders. After the protest, a memorandum was submitted to the Governor of Kayampur Tehsildar Vaibhav Jain. Tehsildar said that a report has been sent to Ujjain for road renewal.
The road from Basai Phante to Kachanara has been deteriorating for many years. The culverts near village Rahimgarh, Khetakheda, Bishnia, Sedra Karnali, Shakarkhedi have been damaged due to heavy rains in 2019. Congress leader Rakesh Patidar in the dharna in Rahimgarh said that the Public Works Department should renovate the Basai Phante to Kachnara road. The 35 km road route is benevolent for the public interest. Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Dung should focus on the development of the region. The road has turned into potholes. Many roads have become dilapidated in this area, the attention should be drawn to the responsible ones. District Congress vice-president Om Singh Bhati said that the dilapidated road is causing trouble for the passers-by, the oldest road connecting the district headquarters has become dilapidated. The administration should take care of the road which has turned into potholes. Rajeev Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sangathan Mandsaur District President Mahesh Patidar said that the administration should start the work of renovating the potholes at the earliest. Accidents are happening every day due to potholes everywhere on the road. District Congress General Secretary Govindsinh Panwar, Senior Congress leader Pirulal Dapkara, District Congress Vice President Sangramsinh Kuravan, Raghuraj Singh Longni, District Congress Spokesperson Ishwar Suryavanshi, Nirmal Farkya, Kayampur Block Congress President Jagdish Dhangar etc. addressed. Tehsildar Vaibhav Jain, who came to collect the memorandum, said that for the renewal of the road from Basai Phante to Kachnara, a report has been prepared by the administration and sent to the concerned officer of the Public Works Department at Ujjain, has started the work of road patchwork.
