A team of Meghalaya Police reached a flat in Indore on Tuesday to connect the links of the murder, in which the main accused Sonam is expected to be hidden for a few days after the incident. A MP police official said, “A team of Meghalaya Police reached a flat in the city’s Dewas Naka area and investigated. We have received information that after the murder of King Raghuvanshi in Meghalaya, his wife Sonam was hiding in this flat for a few days, while he was absconding. She later moved to UP from where she was arrested.

We were also asked how many days Sonam stayed at our house after marriage.

Meanwhile, a new update in the case has been revealed that not one but two weapons have been used in the murder of the king. The king is murdered by ‘Dr.’ which is a major knife used in the northeast. Sonam surrendered to the police in Ghazipur district of UP late on the night of 8 June, while four accused, including Kushwaha, were arrested from different areas of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

Businessman Shilom James, who runs a property management firm in Indore, came out four days ago and claimed that Vishal Chauhan, one of the five accused arrested in the murder of King Raghuvanshi, met him on May 30 and had rented a flat for Rs 17,000 a month in Dewas Naka area of the city and also signed a contract for it. King Raghuvanshi’s family is associated with the transport business. He married Sonam in Indore on 11 May and moved to Meghalaya for a honeymoon on 20 May. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Meghalaya Police is investigating in detail the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi.
