Una (Himachal Pradesh). Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, during his one-day visit to the Chintpurni Assembly constituency in Una district in the election year, addressed a public meeting in Amb town on Saturday and said the country would soon be “Congress-free”. He inaugurated and laid foundation stone for development projects worth Rs 200 crore in Amb town.
Congratulating the first day of Chaitra Navratri festival, Thakur, who was present along with Union Minister Anurag Thakur, said that the people of Chintpurni have been gifted with development projects worth Rs 200 crore on this auspicious day.
He said that the State Government has always ensured that the pace of development in the region remains uninterrupted, for which active cooperation of the Center is also being sought.
He said that the credit for this goes to the active cooperation of the people, timely steps taken by the Prime Minister and the vaccination campaign launched on a large scale in the country.
Thakur said that BJP workers also ensured that all possible help is provided to the needy amid the pandemic. He said that lakhs of masks, sanitizers and food kits were distributed free of cost to the needy people. He said that Congress leaders did nothing in this difficult time and were engaged in politicizing this sensitive issue.
The Chief Minister said that earlier there were only two oxygen plants, but today there are 50 PSA (Pressure Swing Adoption) oxygen plants in the state. He said two years ago there were only 50 ventilators and today there are more than 1,020 ventilators in health institutions in the state.
The Chief Minister said that BJP’s thumping victory in four states has ensured that the country will soon be free from Congress.
He said that now the Congress leaders are in a state of shock and confusion. The present state government will definitely ensure ‘Mission Repeat’.
Thakur said that more than 5 lakh families have been registered under Mukhyamantri Himcare Yojana and so far more than Rs 210 crore has been spent on the treatment of 2.17 lakh people. Under Mukhyamantri Sahara Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 3,000 per month is being provided for continuous care of the financially weak people suffering from serious diseases.
Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur said that in the recently held elections, BJP has won in four states and now BJP will also win in Himachal Pradesh.
He urged the people to use social media effectively to disseminate details about the projects inaugurated and dedicated by the Chief Minister. He said that the Swan Canalisation project has been possible due to the efforts of former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, which has proved to be a boon for the people of the district.
He said that more than 22,000 students of the country were brought back safely from war-torn Ukraine. All this has been possible due to the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said that the Ujjwala scheme and the Ayushman Bharat scheme launched by the Center are complementary to the Grihini Suvidha Yojana and Himcare schemes launched by the state.
He said that the collective efforts of the double engine government at the Center and the state would ensure the formation of the BJP government again in the state in December.
State Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virendra Kanwar thanked the Chief Minister and the Union Minister for ensuring all-round and balanced development of Una district by providing adequate funds for development projects.
He thanked the Chief Minister for launching Sahara Yojana to provide financial assistance of Rs 3,000 per month to the families of the critically ill patient.
