What is happening to the students who come to Delhi with the dream of becoming IAS? First a student died due to electric shock. After that 3 students died due to water logging in the UPSC coaching centre in Old Rajendra Nagar. Now a girl has committed suicide by hanging herself. The fatal incidents happening one after the other have raised questions on the coaching industry of Delhi.
The latest case is also related to Old Rajendra Nagar in New Delhi. Here a girl preparing for IAS exam ended her life by hanging herself. The name of the deceased is Anjali and she was a resident of Maharashtra. Before dying, she has written a three-page suicide note in which she has mentioned the robbery being done with the students by the hostel and PG people.
It is being said that Anjali took this step due to stress. Anjali has mentioned the problems of the students in the suicide note and has written that the students living in Old Rajendra Nagar are under a lot of pressure. Anjali has written that there is a lot of trouble due to the high rent of hostels and PGs in Old Rajendra Nagar. These hostel and PG owners are looting the students together.
It has been learnt that the rent of the room in which Anjali lived was Rs 15,000, which was increased to Rs 15,000. On July 11, Anjali had mentioned about the increase in the rent of the room to her friend Shweta on WhatsApp chat. According to Shweta, when she came to the room in the evening, she saw that Anjali was hanging from the noose.
Shweta says that on July 21, we were searching for her but at 8 pm when her partner came and opened the door of the room, Anjali was seen hanging from the noose. Shweta also lives in the basement of the same building on rent of Rs 12,000.
Police say that they are investigating the matter and strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty.
