MHavel Swami was the 24th and last Tirthankara of Jainism, his birth is considered to be 599 years BC, his father was King Siddharth and mother Rani Trishala and his name was Vardhaman in the beginning. Their son of a king was born in the royal family and gave up his disinterest by abandoning the throne of heritage, this inner voice changes his life journey. At the time of Mahavira’s birth, it is also believed that on that day Devraj Indra anointed, which was considered to be the ritual consecration of Sumeru mountain when Dev is born, when someone comes rarely, he was born in a Jain family in human form. His birthday is celebrated as the main festival of Jainism. He is the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism. The festival of Mahavir Jayanti is celebrated all over the world by people who believe in Jainism. Mahavir Swami’s character was filled with renunciation, penance, non-violence, truth and restraint. He was rich in a great spiritual personality. He gave the message of love compassion and virtue to the world. In the Ikshvaku dynasty, Mahavir was born from King Siddharth and Rani Trishala. Legend has it that Mahavir’s mother had many auspicious dreams during the pregnancy period.
In Jainism, such dreams during pregnancy indicate the arrival of a great soul. King Siddharth explained a total of sixteen dreams seen by the queen. Mahavir was a prince and his parents named him Vardhman. Being the son of the king, he had many worldly pleasures, comfort and services. But at the age of thirty, he left his family and royal family, abandoned his worldly property and became a monk in search of a way to eliminate pain, sorrow and suffering. Vardhman did this curiosity that he was renounced and attaining it. Mahavir Swami called the house a “house of ignorance and fascination”, and he sacrificed his house, family and property in search of truth to live an ascetic life.
It is a difficult practice that Mahavira spent in the next twelve and a half years in deep silence and meditation to conquer his wishes, feelings and attachments. He is also known as Vardhman, Jain, Jitendraya Kev Ke Kevnin and Arihant. Mahavira discovered the Panchsheel theory of Jainism and wandered him barefoot the next thirty years and preached the eternal truth to the people that he felt. The final objective of his education was how a person can get completely liberation from the cycle of birth, life, pain, sorrow and death and bring himself to a permanent blissful position. It is also known as liberation, nirvana, complete freedom or salvation.
He chose the way to live an ascetic life, which was a means of following the path of truth and non -violence. After harsh penance, the attainment of knowledge, he was under an Salva tree on the banks of the Rijupalika River. Tell, which is – non -violence, truth, aparigraha, akaurya (astheya), Brahmacharya. Today’s younger generation should learn values such as non -violence, truth, sacrifice, restraint and compassion for others from Mahavir Swami, which can bring them peace and relaxation in a fourth world. Mahavir Swami attained Nirvana at the age of 72 (527 BC) and his pure soul renounced his body and attained complete liberation. He became perfect, pure consciousness, free soul, who always lived in a state of complete bliss. On the night of his nirvana, people celebrated Prakashotsav (Deepawali) in his honor. It is the last day of the Hindu and Jain calendar year which is known as Deepawali Day. In the present time, it should be understood by Mahavir Swami, by renunciation, we should renounce evils in our life, hate them should abandon them, this makes life simple and accessible, this Swami ji gave the message.
Vegetarian food is given importance in Jainism, it does not originate in our body. Swamiji also gave this message to us that he had everything in life, but he understood the purification from his conscience. In today’s era, the government should have the same understanding, today in our country, the evils of nepotism and status, which started the evils of the evils, which can eliminate malice, duality and hatred in the public. By protecting organisms and understanding non -violence, a human can live birth by living a simple life.
