India is one of the countries in the world where internet data is consumed the most. Due to the continuous connectivity reaching every nook and corner of the country, this data consumption is increasing every day. But there is still a place where Indians do not get internet facility and that is sky ie flights. It is expected that soon Indians will also be able to use the internet while flying in the sky. SpiceJet, one of the country’s largest airline companies, has informed about bringing broadband internet to its aircraft soon.
SpiceJet has said that broadband internet facility may soon be available in the company’s aircraft. SpiceJet Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Ajay Singh has said that the company may soon offer broadband internet inside its aircraft, according to a PTI report. For this, the airline can partner with an Internet Service Provider (ISP). But at the moment nothing is clear about this.
SpiceJet’s fleet consists of a number of Boeing 737 aircraft, of which 13 are Max aircraft. At present, the airline has not given information about which aircraft of the company will get the first support for broadband connectivity.
Ajay Singh said that the company is working on inducting more Max jets in its fleet in the next few months by replacing its old aircraft. That is, the company is paying more attention to the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft and it may be that the Internet facility should be given in these aircraft first. Let us tell you that SpiceJet has a total of 91 aircraft in its fleet.
On the 17th anniversary of SpiceJet, Ajay Singh sent an email to the employees of the company. He said that SpiceJet’s route network will also expand and the company will reach new destinations in the country and abroad.
He further said that we have transported more than 1 lakh oxygen concentrators in the country at the time of most need. We have also been the largest transporter of COVID vaccine in the country.
