Colombo:Sri Lanka is going to send 1 lakh macaque monkeys to Beijing buried under the mountain of debt of China. This special species of monkey is found only in Sri Lanka. A Chinese delegation has asked Sri Lankan Agriculture Minister Mahinda Amaraweera to hand over 100,000 macaque monkeys to Colombo. China said that it would bear the full cost of capturing these monkeys. China claims that it will keep these monkeys in zoos. At the same time, British media says that China can use 1 lakh monkeys in its lab making dangerous viruses and medicines. That is why this decision of Sri Lanka is being severely criticized. In these infamous labs, China conducts research on monkeys related to medicines, vaccines, transplants and infectious diseases related to the brain and other organs. These monkeys are chosen because they are very similar to humans. Import of monkeys is such a big business that we cannot even imagine. It is also sent illegally on a large scale. America alone imported 4,82,000 monkeys from around the world between 2000 and 2020.
China BRI Debt: China itself trapped in the trick of trapping the world, ‘lost’ $ 78 billion, best friend Pakistan cheatedSri Lanka had given Hambantota to repay the debt
Activists working for the rights of wildlife say that China is planning to do similar experiments on Sri Lankan monkeys. According to the report of The Times, Sri Lanka is going to make a big profit by making a deal of 1 lakh monkeys with China, on which the debt of $ 7 billion of the dragon is loaded. China can reduce its debt by selling monkeys. Earlier, China had to give its Hambantota port on lease for 99 years for not being able to repay China’s debt.
The export of all live animals is strictly prohibited in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka wants to sell this monkey at a time when the country has defaulted and has to appeal for loans from IMF to India. Sri Lanka is now going to consider this demand of China. Earlier on Wednesday, China had said that it was willing to hold talks with Sri Lanka on the debt issue in a friendly manner. After this stand of Sri Lanka, now the Foreign Ministry of China has also said that Beijing is ready to give relief in debt for two years. Earlier in March, after India, Japan and China gave guarantees, the IMF gave a loan of $ 3 billion to Sri Lanka.
