The authority has taken important steps to improve traffic problem in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. On Tuesday, ACEO of Greater Noida Authority, Prerna Singh inspected the Greater Noida West area and cleared some important projects to get rid of the jam.
Fob and Uterne approval
During this inspection, Prerna Singh decided to create a foot overbridge (FOB) near Gaur City and Etheda Golchakkar, so that pedestrians could get the facility to safely cross the road. Also, it has also been approved to make Uterne before Tigri Golchakkar on 60m road. The purpose of these projects is to reduce traffic congestion and improve travel time.
Instructions to widen service road
Additionally, the ACEO has also instructed to widen the service road. This will improve the speed of traffic and also reduce the condition of the jam. This step will be helpful in controlling the growing vehicle flow in the city.
24 meter road inspection and approval
Prerna Singh also inspected the proposed 24 meter road in Sector-1 and approved it from the authority. The construction of this road will not only improve the connectivity of the area, but the traffic will also be streamlined.
Plan of need and future
These steps of traffic reforms are very important in view of Greater Noida’s rapid urbanization and increasing population. Officials say that these steps will improve the traffic of the city and people will get relief from the problem of jam.
