Jaipur. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the state government is committed to give sensitive, transparent and corruption -free good governance to the public. He said that officers and employees are the main axis of the government’s government system, which have an important role in spreading public welfare schemes to the common man. In such a situation, the personnel should work with full dedication and integrity and give the top priority to the state interest, so that the person sitting at the last end can give full benefit to the schemes.
Sharma was presiding over the review meeting of the Department of Personnel at the Chief Minister’s residence on Thursday. He said that our government is doing the work of giving good governance to the common man by adopting a policy of zero tolerance against corruption. He directed that the pending cases of 17A including 16 CCA, 17 CCA of departmental inquiry should be disposed of, so that accountability in state works can be ensured. He said that the secretaries of departments which have more number of cases, their secretaries should review such cases per week at their own level. The disposal of pending cases should be completed within the prescribed period.
Training done for increase in efficiency of personnel
The Chief Minister said that the discipline and service of the employees is important in the implementation of the schemes of the state government. In such a situation, regular online and offline training should be given to officers and employees, so that their capacity can be enhanced and increased efficiency. He instructed the officials to amend the rules as required as required.
Sharma said that the pending cases of negligence in work and disciplinary action should be disposed of soon. Senior officials of departments with high number of pending cases should review these cases and ensure their time -bound disposal. He instructed the officials that all departments should send reports of such cases regularly. Also, regular monitoring should be done for disposal of such pending cases at the level of Chief Secretary.
During the meeting, the Secretary of Personnel Department gave information about the cases of pending investigations in the departments through presentation. During this time senior officials of various departments were present.
