Jodhpur. The inauguration ceremony of Sports Week 2025 of Government Nursing College was held at the main hospitality of Parliamentary Affairs, Law and Legal Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel and Dr. BS Jodha, Principal of Dr. SN Medical College, at Shala Sangam Gaushala Maidha. The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs lit the torch and duly inaugurated the Sports Week.
‘Fit Rajasthan Campaign’
Parliamentary work said that under the efficient leadership, our famous Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma is working committed to encourage sports culture and sports. He said that ‘Fit Rajasthan Abhiyan’ has been launched on the lines of ‘Fit India Movement’. The purpose of this campaign is to motivate every citizen to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.
‘Sports Person Life Insurance Scheme’
Patel said that under the ‘Sports Person Life Insurance Scheme’ for the safe future of our players, international medalists are being given an accident and life insurance coverage of Rs 25 lakh.
Sports leads to development of team spirit and leadership ability
The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs said that the game is an integral part of our life, sports develops with physical and mental health as well as team spirit and leadership ability. He said that sports play an important role in our all -round development. Patel said that nursing profession is the work of human service, we are proud of you that you have chosen the path of service.
Open gym and sports ground will be constructed in 3500 gram panchayats
According to the budget announcement, Patel will construct an open gym and sports ground in 3500 gram panchayats with more than 5 thousand population for encouragement of sports in the state. He said that SMS Stadium will be set up in Badminton Academy in Jaipur, Lacros Academy in Udaipur, Shooting Range at Jaipur and boxing ring in 5 districts.
This year 1 lakh 25 thousand youth will get government jobs
The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs said that this year the youth of the state will be given government jobs on one lakh 25 thousand posts and employment will be provided to one lakh 50 thousand youth in the private sector.
Various competitions will be organized from 2 to 8 April, Principal Mukesh Tetarwal said that from April 2 to April 8, 2025, sports activities will be organized by distributing equal numbers to students in six groups named Avengers, Blaster, Ranger, Striker, Thunder, and Warrior.
