Kotputli-Bahrod. Pro. To commemorate the contribution made in the field of economic planning and statistics development of Prashant Chandra Mahalanobis, his birthday was held on 29th June. The program was concluded at Hotel Paradise Kotputli under the chairmanship of Additional District Collector Om Prakash Saharan by the office of Economic and Statistics Department Kotputli-Bahrod.
Block Statistics Officer Babulal Bairwa from the Department of Economic and Statistics said that the 19th district level statistical day celebrations were organized with the theme ’75 Years of National Sample Survey ‘(75 years of the National Sample Survey). Officers, employees of statistics service posted in various offices of the district as well as retired officers, employees and various persons interested in statistics were mainly participated in the program. During the program, quiz was organized on various subjects related to statistics and currently highlighted the importance and utility of statistics in practical life.
Additional District Collector Omprakash Saharan, while wishing the statistics family, said that Samaka (data) should be quality and reliable, so that the schemes can be implemented in the interest of the common man. On this occasion, “Kotputli-Bahrod district in a vision folder 2025” was also released. The live broadcast of the Chief Minister’s address from the state level program was also done during the district level workshop, so that the participant could be aware of the thoughts of the Chief Minister.
In the workshop, Block Statistics Officer Babulal Bairwa gave Panch Gaurav Program, S.D.G. (Sustainable development target) and other departmental activities explained in detail.
