A warning has also been issued by the Meteorological Department not to go out between 12 noon to 2:00 pm. Not taking care of yourself in such a situation can put you in big trouble. Sometimes people take dehydration lightly. But sometimes it is so dangerous that it can even cause kidney failure.
Ayurvedic doctor VK Pandey (BAMS from Vinoba Bhave University) from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, told Local 18 that it is very important to take care of yourself in the summer. In this season, a small mistake can cost you dearly. You may even have to make trips to the hospital. Therefore, it is very important to take care of these things.
Take special care of these things:-
• The first thing to do in summer is to drink at least 4 liters of water every day. Because your body always loses water through sweat. In such a situation, dehydration is common.
• Dehydration is very dangerous because the kidneys do not get the required amount of water and the kidneys are not able to function properly. This can sometimes lead to kidney stones and failure. Therefore, make a habit of drinking more water.
• Apart from this, in the summer season, try to eat food which contains 70 to 90% water. That means watermelon, melon and papaya. All of them contain up to 90% water. This will not only fill your stomach, but also the cells of the body. You will remain hydrated from inside and the body will also get essential nutrients for summer like Vitamin ABC, Folic Acid, Vitamin B16 and Vitamin B12.
• If you are a working person and spend most of your time outside the house, then coconut water is no less than a boon for you. 25 types of nutrients are found in it. Due to which the immunity system of your body increases and there will be no problem like dizziness. It contains especially high amount of potassium, which works to provide instant energy to the body.
• Lastly, the most important thing is that if you go out of the house, keep your head and ears completely covered. Because heat enters your body through your head. If you cover your head properly, then the problem of heat stroke will be reduced. It will remain to a lesser extent. At the same time, raw mango juice and mango panna are very beneficial to avoid heatstroke.
