The domestic stock market opened on a positive note on Tuesday’s trading session. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty 50 opened 39.25 points higher at 23,577.10 in early trade, while the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex rose 188.11 points to 77,529.19. Most indexes opened with a mixed trend. The Bank Nifty index closed 55.50 points higher at 51,759.45. During the opening of trading, UltraTech Cement, HDFC Bank, SBI shares emerged as top gainer stocks. Apart from this, Nifty Bank Index and Nifty PSU Bank Index also saw movement.

According to provisional data available on NSE, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold shares worth Rs 653.97 crore on June 24, 2024, while domestic investors (DIIs) sold shares worth Rs 820.47 crore.
