Indian boxers Sumit Kundu (75kg) and Anamika (50kg) lost their opening round matches at the ongoing 73rd Strandja Memorial Tournament in Sofia, Bulgaria. Sumit lost 0-5 to defending world and European champion Aleksandr Khazniak of Ukraine in the pre-quarterfinals.

She defeated Valeria Aksenova of Kazakhstan in the quarterfinals on Tuesday. More than 450 boxers from 36 countries are participating in this competition.
