Jaipur. Aarti Dogra, Discams Chairman and Managing Director of Jaipur Descam, said that the delay in issuing connections will be taken seriously by the management. Strict action will be taken against the concerned personnel in such cases. On Wednesday, Dogra was reviewing the subjects of power supply, distribution loses, revenue, tripping etc. with the Executive Engineers of Jaipur Discom at Vidyut Bhawan.
During a review of the cases of industrial power connections, he asked the reason for the delay in such cases. The engineers reported pending at the level of the applicant. On this, the Discommaker gave instructions to the officers to find out the reason for the delay for confirmation on mobile phones, in which the connections could not be issued even after about three months of the application. From the middle of the meeting, the engineers called the applicants and asked the reason for not having a connection till now. In these cases, due to delay at the level of applicant like not depositing demand notes, traveling abroad.
Dogra said that domestic and Aghrelu, delay in any type of connection affects the image of the discomm. In such a situation, it should be ensured that consumers in all categories get connections as soon as possible.
During this period, the Diskams Chairman instructed the engineers to ensure the outstanding revenue collection from consumers with more than Rs 50,000, increase vigilance activities in power theft areas, to prevent tripping, regular checking of grid sub stations and feeders and all measures to ensure all measures to correspond to the load.
Zonal Chief Engineer Increase Field visit to improve the power system –
The Diskams Chairman directed the meeting with zonal chief engineers of Jaipur, Jodhpur and Ajmer Electricity Distribution Corporations at Vidyut Bhawan on Wednesday to increase field visits to improve the power system. Dogra said that in each zone, inspect FRT, High Loss Sub Division, GSS, CLRC work on the works to be given and the progress and necessary correctional works of RDSS scheme. He instructed all zonal engineers to conduct a campaign for inspection.
