Udaipur | A painful accident in the Rico Industrial Area on Wednesday shook the entire area. A truck driver died on the spot due to 11000 KV high -tension line. On Thursday, villagers and family members started a sit -in outside the factory to protest against the incident. Angry people are calling the factory owner on the spot and demanding compensation.
How did the accident happen?
The deceased has been identified as 40 -year -old Ramlal Gadri, resident of Nurara Gudli. He brought a truck to the Modi Chemical Factory in Rico. After emptying the goods, he climbed on top of the truck and started fixing the tarpaulin. At the same time his head collided with the 11000 KV line passing over the truck. Current with a sharp spark and fell on the truck. He died on the spot.
Heavy outrage after the accident
A day after the accident, the family, villagers and people of the society reached the factory in large numbers and sat on a dharna outside the main gate. A large number of women also exist. In view of the tension on the spot, police jabta of grass, Dabok and Fatehnagar police stations has been deployed.

Police and administration are trying to calm the people, but the family is adamant on demanding compensation and the presence of the factory owner.
‘Told in the evening, not given the reason’ – Sarpanch
Nurara Sarpanch Manoharlal Gurjar said that the family was informed about the accident on Wednesday evening, but the cause of death was not clarified. When the family reached MB Hospital at night, no responsible person was found there. Later, death was confirmed due to current on checking CCTV footage.
The negligence of the electricity department also came to the fore
Dabok Thanadikari Hukamsingh said that the factory owner had already given a written complaint to the electricity department to remove the high -tension line or increase height, but the department did not take any action. The negligence of the department is also coming out behind the accident.
