Students in America have taken to the streets in protest against Israel. The situation is going from bad to worse. Meanwhile, the police is also seen in action mode. Police removed 30 to 40 pro-Palestinian protesters who had gathered at Hamilton Hall of Columbia University in New York on Tuesday night. The protesters had gathered in this administrative building during the day, after which the police had to be called. University personnel said there was no other option to ensure security and restore order on the campus, following which they sought police help. After this, New York Police officers took this action.

After this entire incident, now the police will remain alert in the campus till May 17 because on this day the preparations for the new academic session of the university are ending. The protests, which began in Colombia last month, have now spread from California to Massachusetts. As the time for the start of the new academic session in May is approaching, the university authorities are trying hard to remove the protesters.

In fact, hundreds of police officers entered Columbia University to remove the occupation of the administrative building by pro-Palestine protesters and uprooted the tents of the protesters. Policemen wearing helmets and carrying protective shields used during riots entered the campus from the Ivy League entrance of the university at 9 pm on Tuesday night, after which the entire scene of the campus changed. A large number of protesters were caught and taken out of the complex by buses. Protestors occupied Hamilton Hall for more than 12 hours. They started the protest about two weeks ago by setting up a tent in the field.
