Complaints have been raised for a long time about the presence of students in government schools in Rajasthan. Keeping this in mind, the Education Department has issued orders to make online attendance compulsory in all schools. Following this order, the teaching staff of schools have been asked to upload this app on their mobiles. In which online attendance of the students present will be recorded. Apart from this, absent students will also be identified. In this attendance app, students are given three options including illness, accepted leave, or unprovoked absence.
It has already been implemented as a pilot project in many schools.
Education Director Sitaram Jat has issued orders regarding this app. In early February, the scheme was launched as a pilot project in 134 Vivekananda Model Schools and 205 Mahatma Gandhi English Medium schools in the first and second phase. After getting the correct results, it has been implemented in all government schools.
Teachers participating in prayer meeting
The order issued clearly states that the attendance of students will be taken through the app during the prayer meeting in the school. And only absent students will be identified. Which will be made available directly on the school mirror portal. So that the school can get this data if needed. Through this app, registering the presence of students will prevent fraud and the truth of attendance in schools will also be revealed.
The attendance of students will be recorded daily.
For this, the Education Department has entrusted the responsibility to the school principal. In which they should download and install the app on the mobile phones of all the staff members and through this, ensure the attendance of students daily. It will also be the duty of the institution head to ensure mapping on every class teacher’s shaladarpan portal. In case of absence of the class teacher, the presence of the students of the concerned class will have to enter the module available from the login of the head of the institution. And action can also be taken against those who do not do so.
