Hard work increases the risk of heart attack: You have just started jogging or running and on seeing others there, you also started running very fast on the very first day. Generally, doing this increases the heart beat and people start breathing. Then after some time everything becomes fine but in some cases doing this can invite a heart attack. Therefore, any kind of sudden strenuous work can put you in trouble. This is being seen more after Corona. Some research has also claimed that due to Corona, inflammation has started increasing from atherosclerotic plaque, due to which doing any sudden physical work can cause a heart attack. However, this is not limited to Corona only, this can happen to normal people as well. Famous Cardiologist at Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh Dr. Nityanand Tripathi While talking to News 18, he explained this danger in detail.
Risk of increased inflammation in arteries
Dr. Nityanand Tripathi said that some research has said that the corona virus has infected the coronary arteries. Due to this, there is a possibility of plaque i.e. bad cholesterol sticking to the arteries due to increased inflammation. But whether someone has corona or not, suddenly doing any difficult work very fast can prove to be harmful. Dr. Nityanand Tripathi said that actually, there are many reasons behind this. One is that in today’s lifestyle, cases like high cholesterol, high blood pressure are coming up more in people.
Sudden blood clot in arteries
Due to high cholesterol, bad cholesterol starts sticking to the arteries. This greatly increases the chances of blood clotting in the arteries. The problem is that this disease does not show any symptoms. Therefore, no one knows that he has high cholesterol. But when 70 or 80 percent plaque or bad cholesterol starts accumulating in the arteries, then suddenly doing any heavy work, this plaque can break in the arteries. If someone gets a heart attack while running fast or dancing hard or working hard in the gym, then the most likely reason for it can be this blood clotting. As soon as one works hard, the blood flow also suddenly increases due to which there is more pressure on the arteries and the plaque breaks.
What to do to avoid sudden heart attack
Dr. Nityanand Tripathi told that therefore it is better to never do uncustomized exercise. That is, do not do hard work as soon as you go to the gym. First increase the capacity of the body. Increase this work gradually. If you are going to run, then first run 20-25 meters, do not suddenly run a kilometer on the first day. Gradually increase the distance every day. Similarly, increase the exercise gradually in the gym as well. Then gradually your body will develop the ability to tolerate it. Develop stamina gradually. Those who have gradually increased the capacity of exercise since a long time, they have very little risk of this. If you develop stamina gradually then there will be no risk. Do not use energy drinks and caffeine excessively during exercise. Always eat seasonal green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, dry fruits, fish, seeds etc. Do not eat outside junk food, processed food, fast food, fried things etc. Also stay away from cigarettes and alcohol.
