After Bihar News Desk City, Block, now the hole-day milk parlor (booth) of Sudha Dairy will open at the panchayat level in Nalanda, Sheikhpura and Nawada. If the booths are opened in the villages, then the reach of the producers of Sudha Dairy will be easier to the last person of the society. Not only this, consumers of rural areas will not have to run the city and block headquarters for milk, peda, lassi, ghee and other products.

There are 130 in Nalanda, 49 in Sheikhpura and 187 in Nawada. A strategy has been chalked out to build a milk parlor in public places. Land is being searched. The land is to be selected, as far as the movement of vehicles can be done easily. So that, there is no problem in reaching the booths according to the demand to the products of dairy. Parlors are to be constructed through Nalanda dairy in the panchayats of the three districts. It is estimated to spend from four to four and a half lakhs per booth. Two deep freezers are also to be installed in each booth. After the construction of booths, the responsibility of operations will be given to unemployed youth and livelihood groups. This initiative of Comfed will increase employment opportunities. Also, dairy products will be easily available to every village.

Booths will open in blocks by March

The exercise to open a booth in each block of the three districts has been going on since last year. Construction of booths has been completed in many places. Whereas, construction work in the remaining blocks is in the final stages. New booths have also been built in the Government Animal Hospital and Block Office of District Headquarters Biharsharif. The tender process for allocation of booths is going to start soon. From March, the hole-day milk parlor will start operating in each block.

A strategy has been chalked out to open a milk parlor at the panchayat level. The process of land selection will start soon after the guidelines from the headquarters. If the improvement in the villages is opened, then the unemployed will get employment opportunities. Parlor operators of urban and block area will have to pay at least 750 rupees to the service charge dairy every month. Power expenses to bear themselves. However, the service charge is yet to be determined for the booths opening at the panchayat level. Soon it will be decided from the headquarters level. At present, apart from the district headquarters, milk parlors are operated in some blocks. However, people are getting Sudha milk and other products through the retail center (retail sales center).
