In the last two years in Sevadha Civil Hospital, about 65 lakh rupees were sanctioned from the MLA fund for the treatment of patients and health facilities at the time of corona epidemic so that the residents of the area do not have to go out for treatment due to lack of health facilities at the time of epidemic. This was stated by Sevdha MLA Ghanshyam Singh while addressing the inauguration ceremony of various development works worth Rs 65 lakhs done from MLA fund at Civil Hospital Sewdha on Monday.
MLA Singh said that ambulances were sanctioned to four hospitals of the district, Datia District Hospital, Indergarh Hospital, Sevdha Civil Hospital and Primary Health Center of Uchad. Oxygen plant, generator and other equipment, furniture, Rs 10 lakh were approved for purchase of medicines for Civil Hospital Sevdha. Continuous efforts will continue for expansion of health facilities in Sevdha region. CMHO Dr.RB Kurele, Medical Officer Narendra Sharma, Block Congress President Janved Singh Kushwaha, Mumtaz Khan, ND Prajapati, Jayendra Singh Sengar, Dheeraj Gandhi, Deshraj Kushwaha, Rajkumar Srivastava, Kamlesh Prajapati, Rajendra Noneria, Udham Singh Baba, Ravi Rajput, Nomi Singh etc. were present.
Other modern facilities including ECG will be available
After the inauguration ceremony, a meeting of the Rogi Kalyan Committee was held under the chairmanship of the MLA at the Civil Hospital. In the meeting, MLA Ghanshyam Singh gave approval for works worth about Rs 9 lakh from MLA fund to further improve health services in Sevdha Civil Hospital. With the said amount, ECG machine, ICU monitor, 10 hydraulic wad, 20 new mattress, 1 RO machine, 1 hot water facility etc. will be made available in Sevdha Civil Hospital.
