Tonk. According to the instructions of the Ministry of Youth Program and Sports, Government of India and Rajasthan Police Headquarters, Tonk Police on Sunday organized the ‘Sandez on Cycle’ campaign. The event organized at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Stadium included cycling as well as activities like Yoga, Zumba and Rope Skipping.
The program was inaugurated by Superintendent of Police Rajesh Meena and 9th Battalion RAC Deputy Commandant Maheshchand. Yoga and Zumba sessions were organized from 6 am, in which police officers, employees and school children participated enthusiastically. Superintendent of Police Rajesh Meena flagged off the cycle rally.
Officers and employees participated in this rally, which started from Ambedkar Stadium and returned to the stadium via Ghantaghar and Patel Circle. The purpose of the rally was to raise awareness about fitness and encourage healthy lifestyle. Falahar was also distributed to all the participants involved in the program. At the conclusion, SP Rajesh Meena thanked all the organizers and participants.
