Let us tell you that on this question related to the election symbol of Shiv Sena, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that he would not be able to comment on it, because it is a matter of political debate. Regarding this, Justice Chandrachud said that the Governor (the then Governor) should have asked himself the question that what he was doing for so many years. The SS said merely asking for majority proof on the basis of difference of opinion among legislators in the ruling party could lead to the removal of an elected government.
