Suraj Revanna accused of sexual harassment
A case has been registered against JDS MLC and HD Revanna’s son Sooraj Revanna at Holenarasipura Rural Police Station. The police have registered a case under sections 377, 342, 506 of the IPC. Complainant Chetan has alleged in his complaint to the police that Sooraj Revanna sexually assaulted him on June 16 at his farmhouse in Gannikada village of Hassan district. The complainant said in his complaint that Sooraj Revanna first called him to his farmhouse. He tried to force himself on him. He also alleged that Sooraj also threatened to kill him if he did not cooperate.

Let us tell you that an FIR has been registered against Sooraj Revanna for allegedly trying to extort money by threatening to register a false case of sexual harassment. Police gave this information. Sooraj Revanna’s close associate Shivkumar lodged a complaint with the police in this regard on Friday, on the basis of which an FIR was lodged against Chetan KS and his relative. Chetan also lodged a complaint with the police on Friday, in which he accused Sooraj Revanna of sexual harassment. Sooraj Revanna is the son of Holenarasipura MLA HD Revanna and elder brother of former Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna.
Prajjwal Revanna facing sexual harassment case
Prajwal Revanna is in police custody for allegedly sexually harassing several women. In his complaint, Shivakumar alleged that Chetan first befriended him and started working for the ‘Sooraj Revanna Brigade’. Recently, when Chetan asked for money for family expenses, Shivakumar refused, following which the accused threatened to file a police complaint accusing Sooraj Revanna of sexual harassment. Shivakumar claimed that Chetan demanded Rs 5 crore, which he later reduced to Rs 2 crore. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against Chetan and his relative under sections 384 (extortion), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 34 (involving others in conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code.
