Suryakumar will play in the second match to be played for Mumbai CA XI against Tamil Nadu Cricket Association XI in Coimbatore from 27 to 30 August.
A Mumbai Cricket Association official said on Wednesday, “Suryakumar will play the second match for Mumbai. He wants to play all three formats for India and he has been available for Mumbai whenever he is free. Apart from Ranji Trophy, he will play in Buchi Babu, KSCA (Gold Cup) so that he can inspire the youth of the team. “
Test specialist Sarfaraz Khan has been made the captain of the Mumbai team. Suryakumar wants to play all formats of cricket and the Indian players will be on a break now as they have to play the next two-Test match series against Bangladesh in September.

The Indian team led by Suryakumar Yadav defeated Sri Lanka 3-0 in the 3-match T20 series. The third and final T20 match played in Pallekele went into a super over after being tied. Team India got a target of 3 runs in the super over which it achieved on the very first ball. Captain Suryakumar Yadav gave India a memorable victory by hitting a four on the very first ball.
