Suspected death of a married woman in a live-in-relationship dispute in Dabwali, Sirsa, husband accused of murder

On Saturday evening, 27 -year -old Married woman Harpreet Kaur died under suspicious circumstances in the Amritsar street located in ward number 1 of Dabwali. Her husband Jagdeep Singh has accused her 24 -year -old nephew Harshpreet alias Bholu of killing his wife.

The case is being reported to be a dispute related to live-in relationship. Dabwali City Police Police has started investigating the case and is waiting for the post -mortem report. Jagdeep Singh, a tailor by profession, told the police that he had returned home after closing his shop at around 7:15 pm on Saturday evening. On reaching home, he found his wife Harpreet Kaur unconscious. People gathered around. He was immediately rushed to the Civil Hospital in Dabwali, where doctors declared him dead.

Jagdeep told that his wife had a mark on her neck. His 8 -year -old son claimed that his nephew Harshpreet alias Bholu had come home. According to Jagdeep, a year ago Harpreet Kaur ran away with her nephew Harshpreet and both were living in a live-in relationship.

About a month ago, the family members found Harpreet and brought them back. There was an agreement in the panchayat and she started living with her husband. Jagdeep alleged that Harshpreet wanted to take Harpreet with her and killed her in this dispute.

Police station in -charge Shailendra Kumar and Gol Bazar Outpost in -charge Vijay Kumar visited the spot. Police said that all angles are being investigated. Further action will be taken based on the post mortem report and other evidence.
