In view of the rapidly increasing demand for electric scooters and bikes in the country, apart from big companies, small companies and new startups have also started launching their electric two wheelers in this segment.
In which another name is being added, indigenous startup company Switch MotoCorp is going to launch its new electric bike very soon. The company has named this bike as Switch CSR 762.
According to reports, the company has designed this bike as a high speed electric bike which will perform like a petrol bike in terms of speed.
Talking about the battery pack and power given in the bike, the company has given a 3.7 kWH capacity lithium-ion battery pack in it. This battery pack will be removable i.e. it can be removed from the bike for charging.
Regarding the range and speed of the bike, it is claimed that once fully charged, this bike will give a range of 120 km and with it will get a top speed of 110 km per hour.
Talking about the braking system of the bike, the company has installed disc brake in both its front and rear wheels, with which spoke wheel and tubeless tire have been added.
Talking about the features, the company has given many hi-tech features in it, including sports mode, reverse mode and parking mode. Apart from this, a 5-inch TFT display, a thermosyphon-like hi-tech system has been installed for cooling.
Also, features like digital speedometer, digital trip meter, digital tachometer, LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, LED turn signal lamp, utility storage instead of petrol tank have been added to the bike.
According to reports, Switch MotoCorp has fixed the starting price of this CSR 762 electric bike at Rs 1.65 lakh (ex-showroom) but it will also get a subsidy of Rs 40,000, after which the price of this bike comes down to Rs 1.25 lakh.
Let us tell you that Switch MotoCorp has planned to invest 100 crore rupees on the project of this CSR 762 electric bike. In the first phase, the company has tied up with dealerships selling more than 15 electric bikes in different states of the country, which will be taken forward in the second phase.
