Paris Olympics 2024: After six days of the Paris Olympics 2024, India has so far managed to win three medals, all three of which have been successful in winning in different shooting events. In this, India’s Swapnil Kusale won the bronze medal in the men’s 50 meter rifle three position event on August 1. Swapnil is also the first Indian athlete to win a medal in this event. After his success, he told India TV in a special conversation that he could not sleep properly a day before the final, during which he also listened to songs.
I did not pay attention to my rank on the scoreboard during the medal event
Swapnil Kusale told India TV in an interview after winning the bronze medal in Paris Olympics that he could not sleep properly a day before the final match, during which he listened to songs. Swapnil further said that during the final match he was not paying much attention to his rank on the scoreboard, rather he kept himself calm and focused on his game. Yes, I paid attention to my heartbeat, everyone’s chances increase, my chances also increased but I was paying more attention to my shots. My family also supported me a lot in this. Due to shooting, I am not able to go home much and I live in Pune.
Regarding Dhoni, Swapnil said during this interview that whenever I see him playing a match, he keeps himself calm in any situation and I also tried to keep myself calm in the same way. What I learned after winning this medal will definitely be useful in the upcoming tournaments.
We worked a lot on Swapnil’s technique
While Swapnil won the bronze medal in the 50m rifle 3 position in shooting, his coach Manoj Kumar also expressed great happiness over this, in which while talking to India TV he said that we worked a lot on Swapnil’s technique. Swapnil was very weak in the standing position earlier but continuous hard work was done on it, the result of which is in front of all of you.
