New Delhi. Delhi Police was called from the official residence of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and informed that Aam Aadmi Party MP Swati Maliwal was assaulted there. Swati Maliwal has previously been the chairperson of Delhi Women Commission. It is being told that around 9 am on Monday, Delhi Police received a call on PCR. The caller was a woman. The woman told the police that she was Swati Maliwal and she was assaulted at the residence of CM Arvind Kejriwal. According to Delhi Police, calls were made both times from Swati Maliwal’s mobile number. In this matter, new problems may arise for Arvind Kejriwal also.
According to police sources, information was given over the phone that Vibhav Kumar, who was the PS of CM Arvind Kejriwal, had assaulted him. It is recorded in the police records that Maliwal complained that CM Arvind Kejriwal got him beaten badly by his PA Vibhav Kumar. Till the time of writing the news, there was no statement from Swati Maliwal in this regard. Police reached there after receiving news of assault on Swati Maliwal at CM Kejriwal’s residence. In this matter the police say that investigation is being done. According to sources, Swati Maliwal has told the police that she will go to the police station later and lodge a complaint.
