New Delhi. Delhi Police has come into action in the case of assault on Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal at the house of CM Arvind Kejriwal. Police reached Swati Maliwal’s house on Thursday. According to sources, after a long wait in the assault case, Maliwal finally gave his written complaint to the police on Thursday. He gave complete information regarding the alleged assault on the Chief Minister by PM Vibhav on May 13 in the lobby of CM House.
The team of Special Cell of Delhi Police reached Swati Maliwal’s house today at around 01:50 pm. The Special Cell team talked to Swati Maliwal on many issues including security arrangements. No FIR has been registered yet in the case related to Maliwal. The issue of security arrangements for Swati Maliwal was discussed today by a senior officer of the Special Cell of Delhi Police. Senior officers of the Special Cell talked to Swati Maliwal at her house for about four hours. Security arrangements have been increased outside Swati Maliwal’s residence in South Delhi. At present, four paramilitary force personnel have been deployed outside Swati Maliwal’s residence.

IPS Pramod Kushwaha, working as Additional Commissioner in the Special Cell, himself reached Swati Maliwal’s house to record her statement. No official statement has been given by the police and Maliwal on this issue. According to sources, the Rajya Sabha MP was asked by the Special Cell as to how he was misbehaved two days ago.

What was that PCR call?
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Manoj Kumar Meena had said that a PCR call was received at Civil Lines police station at 9.34 am on Monday, in which the woman had told that she was misbehaved at the Chief Minister’s residence. The PCR call note written by the police states that “the woman has said that Chief Minister’s private secretary Vaibhav Kumar misbehaved with her at the Chief Minister’s residence”. DCP Meena said that after receiving the PCR call, the SHO reached the Chief Minister’s residence along with the policemen, but the woman who made the call was not present there. Deputy Commissioner of Police said, “After some time MP Madam came to the Civil Lines police station, however she (Maliwal) later left saying that she would lodge a complaint later.”

Let us tell you that Swati Maliwal, who had come to meet Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on May 13, was waiting for him sitting in the lobby of CM House. Then suddenly Kejriwal’s OSD Vibhav Kumar arrived. It is alleged that Vibhav misbehaved and pushed Swati Maliwal. Maliwal immediately called the police in this regard. Later she herself reached Civil Lines police station.
