Fortunately, the baraatis intervened and saved the bride and groom. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and registered a case against the accused. According to the police, the incident took place in a dispute of transaction. Actually, the groom had lent money to the accused and he was saving money for marriage.
The case is of Mohanpur ward five of Cantt police station area of Bareilly. In this regard, the victim Mohammad Rukhsar has filed a police complaint. He told that he had lent two lakh rupees to a young man named Officer Khan. Here, when his own marriage was decided, he was asking for money back to Officer Khan. Angered by this, officer Khan, along with his colleagues Mohammad Ali Ghaffuri, Muzaffar, Mudassir and Zahid, came to his wedding ceremony and started beating him in front of everyone.
According to the victim, when his bride tried to intervene, the accused also assaulted her. During this time, the accused broke the chairs kept for the guests who came to the wedding. Fortunately, the guests who came to the wedding intervened and reported the matter to the police. Police reached the spot on this information, but before the police arrived, the accused escaped from the spot. According to the victim, not only he himself has been injured in this incident, but his bride and mother have also been injured.
According to the victim, during the fight, the accused also pulled two rings from his fingers. According to the police, a case has been registered on the complaint of the victim and the investigation of the case has been started. At present, the victim has been admitted to the hospital. During the police interrogation, the baraatis said that the accused came with full preparation and armed with sticks. Since the people of the aggrieved side were not ready for this attack, someone also got a chance to defend themselves.
