Harikant Sharma/Agra: In the month of April itself, heat like that of May-June has started. Due to the scorching sun, most of the people complain of pigmentation and skin burn on their face. That is why everyone hesitates from going out in the scorching sun. It is very important to protect the skin from sunlight, otherwise problems like allergies start. Strong rays of sunlight can also cause other types of damage to the skin, such as wrinkling of the skin, darkening etc. Not only this, sometimes there is a possibility of cancer due to this. Especially when we become victims of sunburn many times during our youth, that is, when our skin gets damaged by the ultraviolet rays of the sun many times, then the possibility of getting skin cancer increases in the future. However, just getting sunburned a few times does not mean that cancer will occur.
According to Yatendra Chahar, HOD of Dermatology Department at SN Medical College, Agra, apply sunscreen immediately after sunburn. Keep the skin hydrated. For this, drink plenty of water and coconut water. Eat salad and juicy fruits. Beta carotene found in carrots, papaya and beetroot is photoprotective, include it in your diet. Use sunscreen, cleanser, turmeric-sandalwood paste, moisturizer and serum. To eliminate sun tanning, use potatoes. Grind potatoes and make a paste and apply it on the face. If time is short, you can also cut thin slices of potato and rub it on the face. Avoid exposure to sunlight, such as do not leave the house between 11 am to 3 pm.
take these special measures
Be sure to apply sunscreen 15-20 minutes before going out in the sun. Also, reapply sunscreen every 2 hours, this will keep the skin protected. While going out in the sun, wear clothes that can protect you from the sun. Apart from this, you should use a cap or cloth on the head, so that the sunlight rays do not fall directly on the head. It is very important to drink water before and after going out in the sun. It helps in keeping the skin hydrated. Try to stay in the shade as much as possible.
Take special care of food
A healthy diet helps in keeping the skin healthy, so be sure to consume fruits, vegetables and whole grains. You can keep your skin healthy and beautiful only by protecting yourself from the sun. The most important thing is that you do not spend too much time in the sun. Excessive exposure to sunlight can harm the skin.
Use of sunscreen cream is very important
Be it summer or winter, working people have to go out of the house. Our skin gets burnt when we go out in the hot sun during the summer season. In such a situation, if you are going out of the house, then definitely use sunscreen cream to protect your skin from the strong sunlight. This will not cause tanning in your skin. Ultraviolet rays emitted from the sun are dangerous for our skin. To avoid these, the skin should be protected from direct exposure to the sun.
Wash face with cold water. In the summer season, the pores on our face get clogged due to dust and sunlight. Therefore, do not forget to wash your face with face wash at least twice a day. By doing this the dust accumulated on your face will be removed. If possible, scrub your face at least twice a week.
